I think that if a way is found to control lightning, it will be weaponized faster than you can say, “SkyNet’s online’.

That having been said, I also believe that this is easier said than done… I think that this will keep students and researchers busy for years, if not decades. We can’t even predict where lightning will strike at any given time, and that is a logical first step that needs to be taken in controlling it. So I wouldn’t go out and buy any personal lightning rods just yet .
